Cause of death: Heart failure Note: Nicole "Nikki" Marie Wojciechowski, age 32, of Foley, died Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview surrounded by her family while on the heart transplant waiting list. Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Holdridge Park Pavilian, Foley. Ordained Minister Beth Harrison will officiate. Friends and relatives are invited to share in her memory from 12 to 4 Sunday at the park in Foley. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home. Nikki Wojciechowski was born March 31, 1984 in St. Cloud to Daniel and Linda Lou Wojciechowski. She graduated from Foley High School in 2002 and lived in the Foley area all her life. Nikki received her first heart transplant in 1996, a second heart transplant in 2003 and was a strong advocate for organ donation. Upon her death, her wishes were granted and she donated herself to advancing medical research. Nikki loved to travel, enjoyed the outdoors, and loved all animals. She loved her family, adored her niece and nephew; Emma and Easton and her fiancé's children; Tony and Alex. For the past 10 years, she worked with her mother for CNT Cleaning Services. Nikki lived life big and to the fullest and always had a smile on her face. She is survived by her parents; Linda Lou Freedom, Foley; Daniel, Hill City, brothers; Travis, Minneapolis and Christopher (Amanda), Foreston, fiancé, Brad McDonald, Foley and grandparents; Arnold (Sarah) Wojciechowski, Foley and Marcel (Gloria) Midas of Foley. |
