Willem Peters has been born at Hoog Soeren on 24 August 1836. He married Aaltje Bouwman, born on 21 November 1846 at Kootwijk, died June 1879 at Kootwijk. It is likely that they have lived in Kootwijk.
In july 1888, after nine years after his wife`s death, Willem bought farm land in Hoog Soeren at the price of 300 guilders.

They had five children:
Gijs Peters, born 31 August 1874
Heimen Hendrik Peters, has been married at the age of 60 years
Gerritje Peters, married with Rozelaar
Leisje Peters
Jannetje Peters

Willem Peters at the age of 52 bought the piece of farm land known as Het Veld and the house.
His sons: Gijs and Heimen Hendrik worked as forest laborers at the Kroondomein (the forest of the royal family).
His daughters: Gerritje, Leisje and Jannetje were working in his family household.
Willem never remarried.

The farmland Het Veld was was located in the hamlet of Hoog Soeren and you have a wonderful sight over the neighborhood in the South and the West. In the East you see the forest of Bergen Bos and the town Apeldoorn. In the North the Echoput (a water well dug by the army of Emperor Napoleon)
