Obituary

Wm. A. Skinner, former news-paper man and rancher, died Aug. 17, at his home at Santa Rosa, Calif., at the age of 73 years, 11 months and three days.
Mr. Skinner was born in Sparta and when a youth removed to Barron where he entered the newspaper business. He removed to California in 1913. He was a lifelong member of the M. E. church.

He is survived by his wife, Florence A., one son, Kenneth W. and two grandchildren, Florence and Martha Skinner. He also has four sisters, Mrs. J. R. Beckwith of Barron, Mrs. D. B. Hulbert of Dallas, Mrs. Wm. Rafferty of Hillsdale, and Mrs. Charles Beckwith of Portland, Oregon.

His funeral was held Tuesday, Aug. 19, and his remains were cremated the following day at Oakland, California.
