Note	Sarah Ann was born in Massena on 17 Jan 1838. In January of 1913 there was a celebration of her 75th birthday. In the 1850 census, she lived with her parents in Massena and HAD attended school within the past year. On July 1, 1854 she married Henry Sharp (also Sharpe) who was about 7 years older than she. They had 8 children together between 1856 and 1874 - the year that Henry died. On 29 Sept 1875, she filed a declaration for a widow's pension. She married Eli Runions on Christmas Day of 1879. She had had a daughter Nellie (father unknown) who was one of 5 children (at age 1) living with her in the 1880 census (but is listed as Sarah Sharp, widow? Maybe she married Runions on December 1880??? despite what it says in the obit.) A newspaper article in January of 1913 lists her and Eli living on Beach Street Massena. She died in that home on March 18, 1915. She is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery. Eli Runions died on 13 Aug 1926. In 1927, five of her next of kin were given a citation to appear to help settle an estate.
